Genesis

The educational system at MCET has undergone stages (Affiliated/Autonomous/Outcome Based) of evolution in the past decade to adopt Outcome Based Education (accepted globally after the Washington Accord)

MCET is leveraging the Autonomous status(w.e.f. 2011) to implement Outcome Based Education across all programmes

Mission

Conceive, Design, Implement and Operate processes in the given academic environment to enable faculty members of the institute display professional commitment with respect to Outcome Based Educational Model Model

Objectives

Provide support to academic departments to solve OBE related issues

Analyze the effectiveness of OBE in the academic departments

Train faculty members on various competencies required for teaching learning in the OBE model
