FINE ARTS CLUB

Fine Arts club caters to students who have interest towards Dance, Music, Mime and Art. To showcase their talents, students are encouraged to compete in all intra- and inter-college events. Numerous initiatives are carried out to develop and highlight the young people’s innate talents.

In addition to taking part in college level celebrations, students often participate in inter-college and university level cultural events. During college celebrations, students display their artistic and crafty skills through campus decorations.

FILM AND PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB

The purpose of the constitution of Film club is mainly academic and it is not for mere entertainment. The activities carried out by the Film Club will encourage students to develop a different perception of life. The film Club is a great way for students to get together and practice their listening skills while watching the movies. As far as possible we screen the movies with subtitles to enhance students’ reading skills.

STUDIO MCET

The objective of studio-MCET is to promote creativity through photography, to share and critique the photographs of peers, to educate and improve photography related technical skills. This club focuses on taking and collecting fine photographic shots and conducting many photographic competitions. We specialize in memorializing all our college’s events in a magnificent manner. The aim of the club is to promote photographic interest within the college and provide a place for anyone with an interest in photography to meet and exchange ideas and share experiences. The club organizes various lectures, demonstrations, competitions. It is our practice to welcome everyone with an interest in photography, regardless of their experience.

GYAN QUIZ CLUB

Gyan Quiz Club conducts events periodically with several exciting topics consisting of a number of rounds. There are no specific restrictions for students to attend the events. Every interested person can attend the preliminary rounds for every event, participants who perform well in the preliminary rounds will be qualified for further rounds till the final round. Winners of the events will be awarded with prizes and goodies to motivate them to continue their good flow in quiz competitions. As a part of any special days like independence day, republic day and special occasions in college, Gyan conducts special quiz competitions that are open to all students in the to add more interest.

The Objectives are:

• To conduct quiz competitions for students to help them enrich knowledge in various fields

• To promote team-work and co-ordination within the club mates

• To enhance Leadership quality by managing events

• To promote volunteerism among the student groups

• To organize inter college events

• To conduct quiz events for teachers during teacher’s day

• Encourage students to organize event in an effective manner.

Office bearers and club members will meet once in 15 days and discuss about the various techniques and interesting topics to conduct quiz competition.
